Montreal demonstration marks two-year anniversary of Ukraine war

New study permit cap divisive amongst international students
WEBFeb 6, 2024 · Last year, Ontario accepted 300,740 study permits, 51.9 per cent of the entire 2023 approved batch; that number is also 83.5 per cent of what the government will approve this year nationally. B.C took in the second most international students last year, approving 108,535 permits, 18.7 of the 2023 batch, and 30.1 per cent of the 2024 cap.
