Health officials say a person from Kensington, New Hampshire is recovering after being hospitalized with eastern equine encephalitis.

A Hampstead man died and a Kensington man was sickened by mosquito-borne viruses. "We are very concerned," NH epidemiologist Dr. Chan says.

Concord is one of dozens of Massachusetts communities that are reported to be at a moderate, high or critical risk level for the mosquito-borne disease. A map last updated Thursday by the Department of Public Health shows the EEE threat level in each community.
