True crime network Investigation Discovery (ID) is in production on a docuseries exploring the rise and influence of Sean 'Diddy' Combs and the allegations of violent behaviour and illegal activity that have trailed the music mogul.

The untitled series got the green light from the Investigation Discovery network and is being produced by the creators of “Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV,” the docuseries that shed light on the alleged toxic culture behind the scenes of some of the most well-known children’s shows of the late 1990s and early 2000s.

It was announced on Wednesday that Investigation Discovery and Maxine Productions are making a documentary about the rise and fall of the rapper and record producer. The news comes shortly after Combs was arrested in Manhattan,
