The Carolina Hurricanes were back on the ice at the Lenovo Center Saturday with the C1 group, which is primarily the NHL regulars having the first session. William Carrier was again absent from practice, but Canes coach Rod Brind'Amour stated that he didn't think he'd be out for a long time.

Gone are long-tenured fan favorites like Brett Pesce, Teuvo Terävainen, Brady Skjei, and several others, while new faces include Sean Walker, Jack Roslovic, Will Carrier, and a returning Shayne Gostisbehere.

A back-to-back pair of scrimmages highlighted the second day of Flyers training camp. Team 1 swept its two games with a 5-2 victory over Team 3 in the first scrimmage, and a 4-3 (1-0) shootout win over Team 2 in the second scrimmage.

The Carolina Hurricanes took to the ice for their second day of training camp on Friday, this time at Invisalign Arena at the Wake Competition Center. The C2 group went first today, however Scott Morrow was absent from the group.
