Max Verstappen punished by FIA for swearing in description of Red Bull car - Verstappen said he had “no words” on the decision

Other drivers have been left ‘upset’ after Max Verstappen was punished for using swear words during the FIA press conference at the Singapore Grand Prix, according to Alexander Wurz, head of the Grand Prix Drivers’ Association.

The FIA wants the Formula One drivers to watch their language and asked Formula One Management to limit broadcasts with swearing. Some drivers, though, feel the sport’s governing body is being too sensitive.
